January 18, 2023 - Tesla Bought Twitter

When Elon Musk took the lead at Twitter, a lot changed. His ideas are efficient, but he often ignores old users. Examples of that are paying for checkmarks and deleting accounts that haven't been used in a long time. (In fact, there was so much criticism that the accounts were not deleted.)

One of the biggest changes Elon has made is the display of trends. In the past, many news articles, whether national or international, became well-known around election time. But now, instead of political news, anime, idols, and video games dominated most of the trends, even the day to vote in the election!

I think Twitter should show lots of bad news about politics and famous people. That's because I don't watch TV or read newspapers, which is my only source of information. I agree that Twitter is a good place to expose children to politics, and for social studies, as they can find many opinions for themselves. I agree that Twitter is a good place to expose children to politics, and for social studies, as they can find many opinions for themselves.

  1. As I have said all of my life, even before the internet, there should be as much "news" as possible. People are smart enough to read all the sources and determine what is true themselves. But it is funny how he took away the all might checkmark, then charged for it, then took it away again. Now some have a grey check? Its hard to follow.
